Om Sri Gurubhyo Namah

Dear fellow devotees,

The kumbhabishekam is slated for 29/8/2010 - in the ongoing vikruthi year, Aavani 13, Panchami thithi and aswini star between 9.30 am and 10.30 am in tula lagnam. The consecration will be done for Swami, ambal, vinayakar, murugar,  navagraha shrines and the parivara murthies. The ceremonies will commence on 27th august, 2010.

It has been estimated that one kaala puja will take about Rs 25000. We request all devotees to take part in the ceremonies and also contribute physically and financially to this holy endeavor.

Namaskarams.

The small village Kaniyanur, near Thimiri town (which is close to Arcot) in Thiruvannamalai district hosts the Sri Kamakshi ambal sametha Sri Anigopanathar temple. This temple which is believed to have been built by the Great Kulothunga Cholan about 1000 years back. The temple sivachariyar describes the significance of the temple in the form the lingam in square form and ambal belived to reside on the avudai platform. The sthala vruksham is the Vilvam tree.

This temple renovation, spearheaded by the villagers, is expected to be wrapped up in a month or two and the Kumbhabhishekam ceremony will take place after that.

We request all devotees to take part in this holy effort and contribute physically and monetarily to these efforts and get blessed by the almighty.

இன்று நாம் இந்த கணியனூர் சிவாலயத்திற்கு சென்று நடர்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கும் பணியை ஆராய்ந்தோம். ஸ்தபதி இன்னும் ஓரிரு மாதங்களில் எல்லாவற்றையும் முடிக்க உத்தேசித்துள்ளதாக தெரிவித்தார்

மேலும் கோவிலின் உட் பிரகாரம் முழுவதும் தரை போடும் பணியையும் நிறைவேற வேண்டி இருக்கின்றது.ஆலய சிவாச்சாரியாரின் கருத்துக்களையும் உள்ளூர் கிராம வாசிகளின் கருத்தயும் கேட்டறிந்தோம் 

சிவாச்ஜ்ச்சரியரின் தகவலின் படி இவ்வூர் சிவபெருமான் சதுரமான வடிவு கொண்டவர் என்றும் சுமார் ஆயிரம் ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு குலோத்துங்க சோழன் கட்டியதாகவும் சொல்லப்படுகின்றது 

சதல் விருக்ஷமாக வில்வம் விளங்குகிறது..காமாக்ஷி அம்பாளே ஆவுடை மீது உள்ளதாகவும் விவரித்தார்,அப்படி இருப்பதும் சிறப்பாக கூறப்படுகின்றது.

எனவே ஆங்காங்கு உள்ள அன்பர்களும் சிவனேய செல்வர்களும் தாங்களாக முன் வந்து உதவி செய்து பணியை முடித்து தருமாறு பணிவன்புடன் கேட்டு கொள்கின்றோம்.மேலும் விபரங்கள் தொடர்ந்து இந்த வளைய  தளத்தில்   அளித்துள்ளோம்.
